    Recorded in the early Oughts in a bluestone cave under Spencer Street, North Melbourne, Loveproof (Larissa and her brother Ryan on guitars, their childhood friend Pugs Lyngcoln on drums), had ventured into the studio to record the songs Larissa had been writing since her first band had dissolved under the pressure of her bandmates tumultuous romance. Recorded by Barry "Fats" Stockley to 2" tape via old RCA ribbon mics, the recordings are super raw, but brim with vitality, and show the early signs of Larissa's intuitive, muscular writing, and her emerging vocal style.
